To go on my own?

DH and I agreed a while ago to go to an event at the end of this month. Since late August, I have been reminding him that he needs to book time off work to give them a full months notice. He still hasn't. WIBU to just go on my own if he now can't get the time off?

Of course not. If you're happy to go on your own - go. If anyone asks you simply say "H couldn't get the time off work."

Not at all. If he misses it because he couldn't get time off work that's tough.

Nope, not at all. My DP has a rotational day off which means that he is only off on a Saturday every six weeks and trying to get someone to give up their Saturday off is like pulling teeth so quite often I've had to turn up at birthday celebrations, etc alone. People are generally understanding!

Just go. Why should you miss out?
