AIBU - Craving Nobbly Bobblies in pregnancy

AIBU - Sooo... I posted on FB about dreaming about eating a Nobbly Bobbly for breakfast :) (Not a euphemism, an actual Nobbly Bobbly ice cream ;) So delicious )

I immediately got a response asking if I was pregnant!

Is craving Nobbly Bobblies a pregnancy thing?

(I'm also craving beef Monster munch and chips.. though hopefully not together )

I craved Fab lollies madly when pg with DD.

If you have a dream that you're eating a giant marshmallow, be very careful.

You may want to use that pillow again.

When I was pg I craved grapefruit juice. Chilled, straight from the fridge.

My now ex couldn't get that. So he bought grape juice. Orange juice. Apple juice. Tomato juice. Anything but bloody grapefruit juice!

His reasoning was "I don't like grapefruit juice"

err I'm the one carrying our child?!

The watercress craving was easier to achieve.

I craved anything cold or icy when I was pregnant, even my grapes went into the freezer to freeze before eating. DP even walked all the way to KFC to ask for a cup full of ice when I was in labour I craved wotsits too.

from speaking to my friends and family who have also been pregnant, ice seems to be quite a common craving.

OP it's not the nobbly bobblies that made them think you are pregnant, it's the fact that you were craving something so specific at all. That's what makes people think you are pregnant.

DW craved avocados. Check-out lady at Tesco guessed why I was buying them by the bucket-load and congratulated me!

Not so good was going off chocolate for the duration. And then during labour, sending him out to buy the biggest bar of Dairy Milk he could get.

I don't know what Nobbly Bobblies are either. My cravings were love hearts and ice cold lemonade.

Ok. Just googled Nobbly Bobblies. Now I fancy one and I'm not even pregnant!

I craved Nobbly Bobblies when I was pregnant. Couldn't get enough of them. One week they were on offer and my husband stockpiled them. We have pictures of me lying on the floor surrounded by at least 100 of them, 'money-shot style'.

YABU. Everyone knows tangle twisters much better.

Ice or cold ice lollies linked to anaemia which makes sense if pregnant.

I used to crave fab lollies and nobbly bobblies were my second best if I ran out if fabs over the last few weeks if pregnancy in June I was going through up to 5 lollies a day
