To wonder if i should report it?

There is a relatively expensive car parked on the street near my work with it's back window smashed and it's been there for a few days. It is an expensive neighbourhood, so could be that the owner is fully aware and lives just next door, but I doubt it.
It looks more like maybe it was stolen and the dumped.
However there is glass on the floor, so why would someone steal it and only smash the window at the end?
Maybe someone is missing their car? Or would police think i was wasting their time?

Yes report it to the non emergency number. They might already know but no harm in reporting it again

It won't take much police time for them to do a check on whether the car's been reported stolen, give them a call on 101.

Report it. We once had our car stolen and they got into it by smashing the back window and crawling through to the front. Then dumped it.

Yes, report it. If a car has been dumped, but it's been reported, the police usually stick a sticker on it that says 'police aware' until a two truck comes and moves it.

Yes, report it and give the registration number.

I reported a car I spotted with it's boot open. Saw it on the way on the school run, still like it on the way back. Phoned 101, they did a check, and it wasn't stolen or anything, so just told me to close it. Took just a few mins to call. I left a note for the owners though just in case they had anything in the boot that had 'vanished'.

Thanks!
I reported it yesterday evening and they were going to check it, this morning it's gone, so perhaps it really was stolen.
I'm a bit surprised that none of the parking wardens hadn't reported it before.
