will be counterproductive?
I am not Scottish. My Great Grandparents moved to England in the 1800s but I was born with a Scottish surname.
I think it would make me dig my heels in and go with Salmond.
And isn't flying the saltire in Downing Street as 'a gesture of solidarity' going a bit far?

But if they didn't visit Scotland, the Yes Campaign would be all over it, demanding to know where the main leaders of the UK's political parties were.

It's truly damned if they do, damned if they didn't. Grin

Suspect Cameron is rubbing his hands. He and his cronies have been doing everything possible to get a yes vote whilst saying they really want a no vote. Going up and visiting will really tip anyone wavering into voting yes.
