As a reward for ordering my travel money from Thomas Cook they gave me a 'Tag & Track' Passport.
What you have to do is peel off the 4 stickers inside the passport and attach them to items you wish to protect such as your phone, tablet, passport etc. You then register the Tag & track passport. This is supposed to deter theft somehow and/or help you get your lost item back!
But truly how the heck do they reckon it's going to work? Someone nicks your phone, sees the sticker and thinks "Oooooh Nooooooo, this is registered with Thomas Cook's Tag & Track. Now what am I going to do".
Do they really think people are not going to just peel the stupid sticker straight off? This is either really stupid or I'm missing something here.
