Hmm. It's a bit strong. The question is, will your lord and master (or lady and mistress) object to such an error?

Methinks the chances are that s/he will let DH know in their own special yowling, clawing way if the inelegant placement and opening of their precious morsels offends. Be afraid, Mr TitsCrossed, be very afraid.

gordyslovesheep · 03/09/2014 20:40

NO - twatbadger

HappyAgainOneDay · 03/09/2014 20:41

What's wrong with it? Just that it was opened at what is designated the bottom of the packet? Who opened it?

KingJoffreysBloodshotEye · 03/09/2014 20:41

Will you not be decanting it into it's own handy container?

TitsCrossed · 03/09/2014 20:42

Oh god, I haven't dared tell the cats yet. They will flip.

OP posts:
chockbic · 03/09/2014 20:42

What you don't know is the cat did it.

TitsCrossed · 03/09/2014 20:43

Hmm, might have to nip out to get handy container. Or maybe empty one of dh's cereal tupperwares and use that. Will serve him right.

gordyslovesheep · 03/09/2014 20:44

What's WRONG with it ????? it's upside down and the corner has been cut leaving sticky up bits ...meaning the food will go everywhere!!!!!

I'd feed the doer to the cats

Keletubbie · 03/09/2014 20:44

The cat is trying to drive a wedge between you. All part of its mind games.

TitsCrossed · 03/09/2014 20:47

Shock kele I hadn't even considered that option! The titcats could be playing me like a fiddle. They know all about my packaging issues.

TitsCrossed · 03/09/2014 20:48

Thank you gordy medear

Gruntfuttock · 03/09/2014 20:50

How can it possibly matter? Confused

I've never killed anyone over something that trivial.

Yet.

Wolfiefan · 03/09/2014 20:52

It's the cat! Hoping you won't notice the bag is open and will just turn it the right way up!!

AlpacaLypse · 03/09/2014 20:56

I haven't yet found a good way to open AlpacaCat's Iams without ending up with pointy bit corners.

Although the pwecuss pwincess has gone off the stuff completely while I was off in forrin parts leaving DP in charge and (according to DP) NEEDS to have four sachets a day of the poshest most expensive wet cat food that Waitrose can supply.

TitsCrossed · 03/09/2014 21:01

But Grunt

IT'S UPSIDE DOWN!

Angry

TitsCrossed · 03/09/2014 21:03

Oh dear Alpaca so you'll be accommodating this dietary change by shrinking your food budget accordingly then.

OP posts:
hoobypickypicky · 03/09/2014 21:07

I'm very sorry to tell you Alpaca, as the Chief Inspector of Important Felines Incorporated I regret to tell you that your cat has already called CatLine. You may expect a visit from the Cat Police tonight.

Please have chicken (free range) and steak available, in multiple quantities, and be prepared to have your fridge and her sleeping quarters (aka your bed) inspected.

BlackeyedSusan · 03/09/2014 21:20

I was going to say that I think it a bit extreme... but then remembered how ex used to hack open the cheese... and at least one does not have to pour that.

FunkyBoldRibena · 03/09/2014 21:32

Fucks sake. Who the hell does that?

OhMyArsingGodInABox · 03/09/2014 21:36

I would actually do a bad murder if that happened in my house.

FrancesNiadova · 03/09/2014 22:49

YADNBU

TitsCrossed · 03/09/2014 22:54

Thank you for your support.

DH's defence was 'packaging rage'.

Hmm
OP posts:
Hoppinggreen · 03/09/2014 22:59

I was so fixated on the heinous pointy bit I didn't notice it was upside down at first.
Tie his legs together and leave him to the cats!!!

minmooch · 03/09/2014 23:02

I thought at first it was a bag of Revels. I would have been very upset had someone opened MY Revels.

HotPinkWeaselWearingLederhosen · 03/09/2014 23:10

I don't think you should be allowed to show images like that on Mumsnet, or anywhere on the Internet Shock

You need a kibble bin, NOW! Somewhere must be open and selling them?

Or send dh and the Iams to sit out side Pets At Home till it opens.

Anything. But do it now.
