To not to the ice bucket challenge?

Clearly it has helped raised lots of money for different charities and that's great. I've been nominated twice now and I really don't want to do it. Why should I have to tip cold water over myself to give to charity? And why do people get so annoyed when I refuse to do it?

I am not doing it either due to the experimentation of Stem cells being used from embryos.

Goes against my moral code.

nope not at all - I gave a donation to MND and posted on fb thanking my so called friends who had nominated me but stating I was not going to do any ice buckety nonsense.

Alternatively a friend of mine videoed an ice bucket 'challenge' with playmobile characters as stand ins for her and family - and that was so brilliant I wish I had done it.

No one cares you don't want to dump water on your head.

Really.

We don't.

How many threads does this topic need?

YANBU.

I refused too.

I paid a fine to the charity of my choice to keep DS1 who nominated me happy.

I haven't done it either. I'll make the donation and add the ice to my gin

You don't have to. Do what you want. I really don't see why people are causing such a fuss over this!

calzone why don't you agree with stem cell research?
