To ask for advice about scooters for 2 year old

I want to buy a present for a 2 and a half year old boy. Struggling to come up with anything, but then thought about a scooter. It must be light (for transportation) and I've seen some three wheeler ones that convert to 2 wheelers. Are they any good and what make would you recommend. Or is it a stupid idea, if so what should I buy?

Get a mini micro scooter, they are brilliant.

Mine got a mini micro at 2 and still uses it daily at 4.

Mini micro, anything else is just not as good.

MollyBdenum · 24/08/2014 19:58

Yes. A mini micro scooter is the right one.

What everyone else said. I think Jojo Maman Bebe are usually cheapest, isn't there a link on the MN website somewhere for 10% off?

WastingMyYoungYears · 24/08/2014 20:05

YABU to use AIBU for this question though Grin.

DS 27m adores his mini micro and uses it daily

Mini micro are great. My nearly two year old DS whizzes around easily (and does some very cute moves lifting one leg up when gliding). Don't bother with the one that comes with a seat and a shorter post, it's not worth it at 2. If you can get one that is a different colour to standard that'd make identification easier in the play areas. Everyone's got one- with good reason!

3 wheels for sure
