I would be horrified if a man had said this, but it somehow seems worse for a woman to say it. Maybe because I was naively thinking of some imaginary 'sisterhood' where women try and protect others.

Yes, some men and women are shits. I'm not disputing that. I think it's the whole scale disregard for human life that's going on at the moment. makes me despair for the world our children are growing up in.
