Came downstairs and he is listening to the radio on it - horrible tinny echoey sound, when there is a perfectly good radio in the room.

He is now playing retro computer games - fucking Space Invaders and PAC Man - at top volume, so it sounds like being in an arcade in 1983.

If I shoved it far enough, would it dim the sound, do you reckon?

Only one way to find out!

Giving him some Ear phones might be a more sanitary option.

Or have a coffee and see if that helps your perspective.

I think you should take the opportunity to go back to bed. Maybe get out the other side of it next time.

I say earphnes, overall it's probably less messy.

Earphones. Playing games like that with the volume up is OK if you're by yourself in the room but if anyone else is there too it's only courtesy to either switch the sound down/off or to use earphones.
