Posting here for traffic. Sorry if in the wrong place...

Just wondering if it is an Indian holiday today - 9 August. My Indian neighbours are celebrating. Some REALLY cool music coming from their garden, sounds like a big party, but I am too shy to ask them... I rememeber a similar celebration last year. Could have been the same time of year/same date. Anyone know anything about it?

The music is soooo cool!

Thanks for reading (and taking time to reply).

Not that I know of - I live in an area with lots of Indian families and nothing round here.

Can't wait for Diwali though! Smile

Maybe they used to live in Singapore? It's Singapore national day.

There's a Hindu festival tomorrow - Raksha Bandhan . Don't know if that's celebrated with lovely parties?
