to ask for help finding a bridesmaid dress...

...not really an AIBU but I'm desperate.

My brother's wedding is in a month and the dress is too small for one of the bridesmaids!! The shop has sold out and we're hoping one of you lovely ladies can help with the power of mumsnet.

It's a BHS grape Isobel (off the shoulder) long dress in size 18.

Pre-loved is fine, we just need this lady her dress.

Help!!

I'm no fan of Facebook but it's good for this kind of thing. Would it possible to find a dressmaker and have a similar dress made?

Id also try BHS customer service - they might be able to help.

Have a look at the seams on the dress, some bridesmaid dresses have extra material so the dress can be let out, a seamstress will do this for you! Or you can find similar/matching material and put in a side panels to expand the dress!
