When used to mean 'leaflet' or 'form'.

So you don't like word, even though it's being used correctly?

Literature means things produced using the written word.

you could use the word collatoral if you like, as in marketing collatoral.

I'd rather it was referred to as literature than 'bumf' or 'rubric'. Have heard both of those before and found them inexplicably irritating.

I like the word.

I also like the word plethora.

I've found the word 'shite' is much more accurate to label what you are talking about. Literature= Shakespeare or Maya Angelou, not some boring jargon filled glossy list of bullet points with a call to action. Marketing people do not always share my view, it turns out...

Not as bad as pamphlet
