To ask where to get diet motivation!

I've already lost nearly 4 stone low carbing and the 5:2 diet but I have a bad kidney so I'm really not allowed continue low carbing and I'm a bit bored of the 5:2. I've maintained my loss by kind of arsing about having a really good day or two then a really bad day or two. Not ideal at all.

I really want something to follow for the month of August that'll get me excited, something different but not too faddy. Maybe just counting calories but it just doesn't get me excited!

Any ideas?

Can you add in a little extra exercise? Hula hooping or extra walking? I do calorie counting too. I love it as I can eat what I want as long as it is within my calorie allowance.

My fitness pal?

if you want to keep your weight stable you can only eat what you burn off. Move around and don't eat too much.

that's it, basically.

remember; complex carbs are good. And there is so much lovely veg around at the moment. Go see anyone you know with a veg patch or an allotment, they will have a glut!

Slimming World is good. It really is a plan for life, just encouraging cooking healthy food from scratch.

And for me health is the motivater.

BlinkAndMiss · 01/08/2014 20:03

I'll second Slimming World, it's actually quite exciting as there are millions of recipes and things to try. Definitely motivates as it works so well and you'll rarely be hungry.

Well done on the weight loss!
