I thought I was doing okay this summer, keeping busy with the house and the kids. My mum died 2 years ago and now I have no family in this country, its just me dh and the kids. As I said I was doing ok, but a conversation today with a friend has undone me, she was telling me all the things shes done with her extended family this summer, I know how close they all are.
I'm just so very jealous. I only work part time but am grateful for the company there, even if its crap at times.
