Dh can stay up drinking, laughing and having fun till the wee hours with mates, but if they leave and I'm there he falls asleep - instantly. 9pm at a bus stop then all the way to our station on the bus after just a few pints and dinner (early dinner 6pm!). If friend has stayed out they'd have gone for hours but as soon as it's just us Dh has nothing to say. Challenges him to speed up between bus and station to make a train but got shouted at (publicly) to 'get the f*ck on then'. Ignores and caught train. No idea if he did as hasn't responded to my text. This is fairly indicative - am I nuts or am I completely in the wrong???

Erm, your OP is a bit confusing (to me at least!). Are you saying that your husband has got drunk and shouted at you in public, so you caught a train and you think he missed it? Because it sounds like there is more going on than just the shouting...

I don't get your post myself, but I think the general gist of it might be is there something wrong with our relationship? yes. Most definitely. Whichever way I interpret your OP.

So if he was out with friends, he'd be the life and soul till early morning but as soon as his friends go home, he doesn't make any effort to stay awake to spend time with you? That sounds rude and disrespectful.

And after falling asleep on the bus, you asked him to walk quickly so you would both catch a train but he shouted at you. You went on ahead and now you don't know if he's on the train or not. He sounds like a bit of a bully unless when he's being the life and soul for his friends he's also shouting and swearing at them?

Although I am assuming that you weren't shouting and swearing at him when he annoyed you by falling asleep and walking slowly. If you were shouting at him then your behaviour probably balances out.
