WIBU to send the kid home?

So the kid next door comes and calls for my three. Kid next door is 6, v hyper and into everything. My DTGs are 3.6 and DS is 5 on Thursday and aspergers so doesn't always like to socialise. Getting better though. Kid next door played with DTGs in the front garden for a while. Its big and has a swing, see saw etc. DTGs came indoors as were tired and bored. Kid next door came in and started asking if he could go upstairs to play, if he could pull all the toys out, generally being a whirlwind. I asked said kid where his parent were; dads at work and mums having a sleep and sister is in her room.

Whilst I don't mind kid coming over to play with my three, i do object to him being shoved out the door and not being asked if it was ok for kid to come over while mum had a sleep. Even if sis was meant to be watching kid while mum was having a sleep.

Granted kid could be lying, but kids mum smokes weed. Which doesn't bother me, but I know it can make some people quite dazed and chilled and not really want to do anything.

WIBU???

No. You're under no obligation to keep the child entertained all day.

I would probably have taken him home and knocked and handed him over. Not in an accusatory way, just in a playtime at my house is over way.

no YWNBU, send him home now or you will end up with him at yours every day for the rest of the holidays!

I sent him home a while back. Told him mummy should be looking after you. DS came home around 4;30 from his Nans (escorted by nan!) and kid was looking over the wall as if to say Im bored are you coming to play?! I scooted DS in, had a quick chat with MiL and closed the door!!

Thanks for replies ladies. I felt bad about sending kid home but now I don't!!
