OK so they are not as bad as they could be but it's really annoying me! I've spent about £1000 at the dentist in the past year getting a tooth root canalled and crowned (after getting an abscess which also gave me sinusitis) and replacing a filling and getting another little filling done. The filling which has been replaced is still a bit sensitive to hot/cold a month later which makes me think there's something wrong with it. It is an old filling that has been replaced a couple of times and the dentist thinks I will need RC on that as well at some point. On top of that I've got an impacted wisdom tooth which needs to come out, and which I think is possible shifting my other teeth which is causing the filling to leak...
I don't drink fizzy drinks or fruit juice or eat much sugar (chocolate/cake a couple of times a week). I brush, floss and mouthwash twice a day with all the dentist-recommended kit. And they still go wrong and cost me a fortune! It's like owning an old house with all the maintenance they seem to need. I'm only 27 and I feel my teeth shouldn't need so much doing to them at my age. On the other hand I've got friends who drink gallons of coke, never floss, only bother to get check ups every 3 years and have never had a filling...
Anyone else feel like this?
