.. and that they should fuck right off with their combining?!

Seriously we want to sit outside with wine the children in the paddling pool but they are pissing off the cornflies which in turn are driving me BALLISTIC.

Are you joking? I actually can't tell.

londonrach · 25/07/2014 15:26

Reverse...

kentishgirl · 25/07/2014 15:26

got to be a reverse, or a joke.

tallulahturtle · 25/07/2014 15:26

Should we ban their pesky tractors from the roads too?! Also cannot tell if OP is joking :/

annabanana19 · 25/07/2014 15:29

if youre pissed off with the farmer you need to pack up & move to the city. Sounds to me you'd be better off there.

Idontseeanyicegiants · 25/07/2014 15:30

Bloody farmers, bringing in the harvest when it actually needs to be brought in.
Bastards.

LizLimone · 25/07/2014 15:30

That's the reality of living in the countryside...move (back?) to the city or the 'burbs if you don't like it.

Pantone363 · 25/07/2014 15:32

Farmer is bringing in the peas about 10 meters from me right now, noisy and dusty but meh.

LeapingOverTheWall · 25/07/2014 15:34

Friends were selling a house in a v desirable rural village. Several viewers complained about the smell from the muck spreading, despite being desperate to live rurally Confused.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 25/07/2014 15:34

It's their job and living, can't be helped.

spanieleyes · 25/07/2014 15:35

Perhaps they should combine in winter Confused

HannerHet · 25/07/2014 15:37

I think it's supposed to be lighthearted?

softlysoftly · 25/07/2014 15:39

Exactly Idontsee.

I'm from here (visiting "home") moved to the city about 4 years ago and had forgotten cornflies the itchy creepy horrible things.

I have farmers in the family so I can't actually be bigoted against the farming community no matter what I say, like Dave and his black mate.

Idontseeanyicegiants · 25/07/2014 15:41

My IL's are farmers Grin
In all fairness I stay away when they're harvesting because I end up feeling like my head is going to explode when I go past the fields.

ShadowFall · 25/07/2014 15:45

How very dare they.

Wanting to earn a living by taking crops in when they're ready to be harvested instead of leaving them to rot in the fields? Crops that might even end up in the food chain? Bastards.

YABU btw. You should think about moving to a more urban location if this is a real problem for you.

DogCalledRudis · 25/07/2014 15:47

Drink cider not wine Grin

Delphiniumsblue · 25/07/2014 15:50

How inconsiderate that everything doesn't stop when you move to the countryside! Grin

greenhill · 25/07/2014 15:52

It could be muck spreading season, count your blessings!

softlysoftly · 25/07/2014 15:55

Brilliant Spaniel wouldn't disturb anyone in winter, I shall go over and suggest it.

Dog interesting. .. Though in Yorkshire so maybe bitter??

OP posts:
cardibach · 25/07/2014 15:56

Ahem - OPs light and ironic tone was immediately obvious from her first post Confused What's wrong with you all? Heat addling your brains?
I know OP, buggers insist on driving right in front of me on the roads too. But, like you, some of my best friends are farmers, so what can you do....?

softlysoftly · 25/07/2014 15:56

Green oh god I forgot the horrors of cess pit emptying time

"Brilliant Spaniel wouldn't disturb anyone in winter, I shall go over and suggest it." (that they should "combine in winter")
Do let us know what the response is, I'm sure we'd all be interested

Idontseeanyicegiants · 25/07/2014 15:59

Didn't get the light hearted tone at first but I'm poorly and stuck to the sofa today Sad
A family have moved in near us who have seriously complained so far about the tractors, the church bells and the cows mooing in the fields near us. They've gone to our MP and everything!!

softlysoftly · 25/07/2014 16:04

Cardi add in their obsession with ever larger John Deere monstrosities as soon as there's some brass in their pocket and I really believe they so should be banned from the roads really.

Idont inconsiderate cow bastards Grin
