To always feel like we should be doing something when the weather's so good?

It's lovely here, hot and sunny not a cloud in sight. I always feel as though I should be outside doing lots so as not to waste the nice weather.

The house is not bad but I wanted to do some decorating and clearing out of stuff. Also maybe wash the windows and the car, things like that. So far I've spent two days in the splash park with a picnic and sat on the grass reading while ds makes friends and plays.

Is this a British thing because we get so much cold and rain here? If I don't make the most of the sunshine we might not get anymore.

I love to get out with the Dc when the weather's nice I think most people are the same.We can go so long without any sunshine in the UK so when it come's along it's nice to make the most of it.

Being as it stays light till late at night now could you not clean the windows and the car then?

That's what we do,any jobs that can be done later in the day or evening when it's cooler and we've had a chance to be outside with the children in the day we just catch up on the jobs then.

I know exactly what you mean. Except I would like to spend my days watching netflix and stuffing my face indoors.
