To think that there's nothing "Beatrix Potter" about house mice?

I've just discovered that mice have chewed a bloody great hole through the plaster above the plug point behind my fridge.

I've been battling with this problem a while and couldn't understand how they were coming in here.

All my cleaning and burning peppermint oil has been a waste of time. The electronic repellent just runs up my bills.

These mice have attitude. This is war - off the Homebase to get some wire wool so they can't chew through it and some filler to go over the top.

I'm not frightened of rodents, but I don't like them. Especially in my living area.

Ugh!

Perhaps you might have to take the 'bull by the horns' and get the pest control officer from the council and distasteful as it may be, kill the pests.
Are you sure they are mice and not their bigger long tailed cousins?
Happy hunting.

Mice are able to squeeze into tiny openings. We had one, once - even chewed his way through the humane trap I bought. He also chewed a big hole in a packet of cayenne pepper - it was all sprayed out so he obviously had a pretty explosive sneeze Grin

We had to get a lethal trap in the end - only thing that would catch him :(
Definitely a mouse, but a big one with attitude!
