He is driving me mad with his refusal to sit still. Wandering around the room trailing dinner (to be fair this happens only when we don't sit with him, so he's probably bored), or when he does sit on the chair he balances one bum cheek on the corner and leans off it, slides off the front, sits sideways and skews around to eat, pushes the chair slowly to one side, slides forward off it.

I don't know why it irritates me so much but it does Confused

YANBU! My 4 year old is always squirming and wriggling, falling off the chair, getting up to go to the toilet etc. I've got her to sit in her 2 year old sister's booster seat a few times, strapped in, and with the tray over her lap. She loved it! And it worked wonders with helping her focus on eating! She's only sat in there a few times though because i think the novelty would wear off if she sat in it too much.

I don't mind him getting up to go to the toilet, it's the fidgeting.

I'm probably a total hypocrite though because I hate sitting in chairs and have to have one leg up at all times but at least I sit still and with my whole bum on the chair Grin

I feel like a teacher!
