So it's cd29 of a usually regular-as-clockwork 28 day cycle. We may have gotten carried away a bit on cd14 and used withdrawal instead of our usual condoms. Didn't really think much about it until I discovered a rather large amount of ewcm and checked my tracker app to find out if the last two weeks had passed really slowly... apparently they hadn't.
Have no hpts in the house because I got rid of them all after deciding I couldn't go through another mc or hg pregnancy (despite both of us actually wanting another baby at some point), but opk gave a strong positive. It's possible I just ovulated late and don't need to worry about poas for another two weeks, right?

If you can stand it then leave it for now Smile

You're only one day late and even regular cycles can alter slightly from time to time.

Leave it a few days and maybe test then? I couldn't wait a full two weeks not knowing Grin

I hope things work out for you whatever happens x

I'm in a weird state of limbo between denial and crazy casual symptom spotting. I'm telling myself that I can't get HG again if I don't know I'm pregnant. Hmm

I think you should test now because I'm nosy.

GingerRodgers · 19/07/2014 12:43

Er..... Um..... How can you be so calm op?! ConfusedBlush

Can't you nip to tesco and get a Bfp put your mind at rest?

GingerRodgers · 19/07/2014 12:44

score out fail

Trills · 19/07/2014 12:47

Do you want to be pregnant?

Or want to be not-pregnant?

If you feel strongly either way, perhaps you should make an effort to find out.

If you don't really mind, do as you like.

AntoinetteCosway · 19/07/2014 13:13

I'd buy a two pack, do one now and if it's negative do the other in a fortnight if your period doesn't show up.

Actually, I wouldn't, I'd get stupidly excited and test obsessively until my period arrived/I got a BFP but that's bad advice!

Sallyingforth · 19/07/2014 13:48

OP let me be the first to offer you congratulations!

ikeaismylocal · 19/07/2014 13:53

If an opk was positive and you have a regular cycle I'd bet lots of money on you being pregnant!

AllOutOfNaiceHam · 20/07/2014 08:35

Cd31. Another positive opk last night, but nothing else interesting to report. I think I might get a test today, though experience tells me that as soon as I pee on that ten pound note stick my period will show up anyway.

I don't know how I feel about all of this, to be honest. I'd love another baby and so would my hus husband, but the thought is also equally terrifying.

Order some cheap tests online, so them when they turn up later in the week.

missmakesstuff · 20/07/2014 08:51

Good luck op, I poas yesterday at 29 day's ( cycle previously 21 day's and 32!) and got a really strong bfp! I think thestreet May have heard me shout ' oh my god!!' as I wad just doing it to put my mind at rest before went away today...
I had a ms last year and the conflict in emotions is mental.
good luck and hopefully congrats! (Btw, supergroup early tests 2 pack for a fiver)

missmakesstuff · 20/07/2014 08:52

Went away on holiday meant, fat fingers, already...

missmakesstuff · 20/07/2014 08:53

Also superdrug... Stupid phone!

GingerRodgers · 20/07/2014 11:57

Op have you got a pound shop nearby? Home bargains? They do really cheap ones. Otherwise I've always got my bfp's on a tesco cheapie. Think they're about £3/4 for two.

PiperRose · 20/07/2014 12:01

I literally have no idea what any of this means. I don't know whether you want to be pregnant or not, but I hope it turns out ok.

sebsmummy1 · 20/07/2014 12:09

Congratulations Grin

WaitMonkey · 20/07/2014 18:55

Hope you get the, result you want.

AllOutOfNaiceHam · 21/07/2014 07:36

Thanks, wait.
I think my patience is at an end today, where the hell is my period?

OP posts:
GingerRodgers · 21/07/2014 08:20

Buy a cheap test ham then you don't feel like you're peeing on money.

mrscog · 21/07/2014 08:22

Don't buy a £10 test - you can get 2 for £1 in Poundland! Good luck :)

plinkyplonks · 21/07/2014 08:30

2 for £1 in Poundland - how did I not know this?!

Good luck OP!

AllOutOfNaiceHam · 21/07/2014 09:54

Bfn on a tesco test.. still no sign of my usually very regular period though.

OP posts:
GingerRodgers · 21/07/2014 13:35

Oh. I'm tempted to say it's your period misbehaving then. With dd I got a Bfp 4 days before af due and on the day af due this time so I've always found them reliable.
Anything else that could have delayed it? Been ill? Stressed?
