I'm a self-employed shop owner. Yesterday was a predictably quiet day (middle of week, middle of month), so spent the majority of it right here on MN while sat behind the counter, serving the odd regular customer.

Arrived this morning to find that I didn't even open yesterday's post. So I now have 2 days of work to catch up on...and I can't be arsed as it's too humid and I just want my weekend already!

So...I'm going to try and not be on here today...place your bets now as to how long that will last...

Damn, you were right Staywithme! I am a complete failure.

On closer inspection, I didn't even check my emails yesterday, so that's another 25 things to do today.

I'm supposed to be getting everything in order for a friend to take over management when I go on maternity leave at the end of the year too...honestly, when I'm productive I'm SO good, but when I hit a wall there's no telling when I'll start back up again!

I was. Going to suggest an online support group for those that are addicted to mumsnet but that would be kinda, well, counter productive.

Totally failed. Just had a major realisation that I've cocked up massively on a job, months ago, and I can only rectify half of it. SO now I need to rant and feel like I'm justified in panicking, when OH is telling me over the phone "All will be OK"....
