Next have recalled a number of babygros because they have what looks like tiny penises all over them.

I'm surprised the DM didn't show a sad-faced picture of parents and baby.

Some people have vivid imaginations I think!

Maybe I'm being thick but I can't see it?

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 14/07/2014 17:25

Really? Really? They recalled because of that? I would have laughed at the well and truly over active mind of the guy who complained. And I thought I had a dirty mind until now

iklboo · 14/07/2014 17:25

Jeez you have to go some to see it as a penis - and be a bit warped to think Next put it on a babygro deliberately.

londonrach · 14/07/2014 17:26

Sorry can't see it....

SistersOfPercy · 14/07/2014 17:27

Jesus Christ thats it, the world has officially gone tits up.

Hopefully · 14/07/2014 17:27

Wow, that is utterly pathetic. How sad do you have to be to (a) notice and (b) give a single solitary shit?

ApplebyMennym · 14/07/2014 17:27

But get this, the worst thing is the parents dressed their GIRLS in these. Not just babies, GIRLS. Shocking. They'll be scarred for life you know.

ballsballsballs · 14/07/2014 17:29

My mistake, it's not a recall. They're just withdrawing the babygros from shelves.

I couldn't really see it either. It's not that obvious, and my first thought would have been 'placket'. Ah well...

I think the man in the story should see his GP if his penis looks like that and is that shade of green!
It is obviously the button neck detail of the jumper, not a penis.
I hope the babygros removed from sale are put to good use and not just thrown in to landfill.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 14/07/2014 17:31

What dreadful fate do they think will befall their daughters from being dressed in these baby grows?

I think I would have just enjoyed a good laugh at these!

ballsballsballs · 14/07/2014 17:44

I can imagine pointing them out. 'Look at my DC's penis babygro!'

Or not even noticing, TBH.

That's a shame - I would buy these for the penis motif if they were still on sale. I can imagine having a little snigger at the fact that they look vaguely phallic, but I cannot imagine making a complaint, given that there is a perfectly reasonable artistic explanation for them being there!

Shame Next can't tell it's customers to grow the fuck up.

I have a FILTHY mind and there's no way I would have noticed these supposed "penises"....

DinoSnores · 14/07/2014 18:32

What a very odd man he must be!

Rosa · 14/07/2014 18:34

I am impressed with 5mth twins that he has time to study the babygros...My children were lucky if they had matching socks at that age,... And they weren't twins.

It took me a while I see anything and still not really seeing it other than the jumpers neck detail. Some odd people around.

Mrsfrumble · 14/07/2014 18:42

The saddest thing about this is that Next didn't just tell him to grow up and fuck off.

My DD had this babygro about six months ago. Shall I dig it out of the loft, squeeze her back into it, and pose with her while doing a sadface?

maras2 · 14/07/2014 18:47

I wish I'd bought some so DGC's could take them to the Antique Road Show 2050.That would confuse the smug bastards.
