To wonder why my moon cup keeps leaking?

I use one because I seem to be allergic to pads and tampons, so really could do with fixing the leak!

I successfully used it before I had DD. She was born by c section and I didn't really go into labour with her (waters broke but didn't dilate much before going to theatre), so things shouldn't have changed down there. Nevertheless, since my periods returned I have only had about a 50/50 success rate (whereas it was bombproof before!). Sometimes it just leaks a little, but if I go to the toilet in between removing it, sometimes it slides down too.

I really don't want to have to go up to the bigger size because I find removing it uncomfortable as it is. But I don't know what else to try! (Have already checked the little holes aren't blocked by inserting a pin).

I think you need to go up a size, sorry

Try soft cups instead ( from boots) they are disposable though. I've had 2 dc and use them no problems

I think it says in the instructions it can be to do with pelvic floor tone and that can be affected by the weight of carrying the baby even if you don't deliver vaginally (sorry). Might not be that at all of course but why not try a good month of plenty of pelvic floor exercises then see if it improves before getting the next size up?

Are you perhaps a little heavier than before? Try a larger cup or different brand.

Thanks guys. I think my pelvic floor is OK. I don't have any problems with any other kinds of leaks. Having said that, a few pelvic floor exercise never hurt anyone, so I'm doing them as I type! If that fails, looks like I'll be sizing up.

I think you may have to go up a size or replace the one you got. How did you store the cup during pregnancy and until you was able to use the cup again
