I'm the first to admit that soccer isn't my thing, but I just happened to see a bit on the tv. I had understood it to be played by men and watched, in the majority, by men. However, all of the crowd shots I saw showed exclusively young, very attractive women.

Am I unreasonable to have not realised that soccer is played by young men for the titilation of young women?

That just happens to be the shot that the cameras home in on. I think you will find that the majority of spectators are men.

I'm watching the game. They have shown a lot of attractive young women. But not even remotely exclusively.

That is because all, if not most of the people with the TV cameras are men, and they always home in on young attractive females.

I'm not cynical.

Ah the camera men scan the crowds before the match starts and pick out the women they want to shoot back to, it's what the men want to see.
