I dragged my sorry arse down to the doctors and the bastards didn't fix me

instead of pilling me up etc and sending me on my way... been signed off got hospital appointment medicine amd 2 more gp appointments this week.

The NHS is fucking awesome but... I got the rage.

Your obviously unwell so nope you aren't being unreasonable, have some and sympathy

better hospital appointment than they ignore it and mis what is wrong.

But I'm really angry.

YABU and petulant but if you're not feeling well then I sympathise. Actually, if you got signed off, and a hospital appt, medicine AND 2 more GP appts next week then it's probably a bit more than "not feeling well" so...

I don't understand why you got 'the rage' and why you're so angry. I don't expect you to be happy about being ill, of course and I hope you are better soon.

I wanna be fixed too but i have to wait for another 8 days n then will probably be given pain killers but these migraines are killing me especially when coupled with belly pains!!

It doesn't make me terribly angry more makes me feel like going to cry cos nothing is working

(im talking was in bed for two days over weekend with a migraine, my stomach hurts to move to cough to sneeze, even taking a deep breath, seeing stars, it honestly felt like I had been hit by a car)

are you angry because you hoped there would be a quick fix and now you're a bit worried?

were you hoping it was something simple that could be fixed with a pat on the head and a bottle of pills.

having to go to our local hospital is enough to make one angry.

You need to change to 'the other surgery' in my town! You could have rung them, had them ring you, write a prescription for you to collect later, having mis diagnosed you over the phone.

Much better than the bastardy thourough service you have been subjected to!

They are terrible, terrible arseholes who listened to me and expressed concern over me.

plus part of the problem is migraines and I'd really like to be able to think again one day. I was definitely hoping for a pat on the head and pottle of bills.

If you have been in pain all weekend, I'm not surprised you were hoping for an instant solution, OP. That sounds miserable and you must be exhausted too, which does not improve the mood.

Also uncertainty is worrying and demoralising and at the moment no-one knows what's wrong - I hope your hospital appointment is not too far in the future, so they can investigate your problem.

As pps have said, it's wonderful that they are being so thorough and are seeing you again so soon at the GP.

Try and get as much sleep as you can while you are waiting for all these appointments . Do as little as you possibly can and spoil yourself as much as possible - feeling ill is miserable!

Well my eyes or fine, opthamology have suggested a referral to neurology (wasnt expecting much gp wad a bit enthusiastic) but...brights lights in my poor eyrs... inwant to cry. Might ho for a cry.
