.. with a glass of wine when i only have the dog for company?

DD's are both working. DH is in Canada (yes! Canada!) on business but has the weekend to himself and is going to see the new Cirque Du Soleil show tonight.

I, on the other hand, am bored and lonely and a glass of wine in the sunshine seems to be cheering me up no end.

But i am drinking on my own. Does the dog even count? I am not unreasonable am i? I am not a lush am i?

Not at all! DCs are out, DH is out playing cricket, I will be having a g&t shortly

thats great OP when you are a bit merry you get to put MTV or whatever and sing to all your songs and have a real good trip down memory lane - well thats what I do when I have the place to myself!

Bring the dog's water bowl out into the garden and you'll technically have a (albeit tee total) drinking buddy!
