I am sure I saw a shower gel for £22 in their shop window earlier today What's so great about them to warrant the cost?

Last for ever, only need a tiny bit

taxi4ballet · 03/07/2014 20:41

'Designer' label?

They are nice products though, I got some as a present once.

Jayne35 · 03/07/2014 20:42

You only need a little of the body wash and it smells lovely, I have pink pepperpod and I can still smell it on my skin hours after using it. It's nice to sometimes have some luxury products.

TheHouseatWhoCorner · 03/07/2014 20:43

wife is correct. Obviously!

CoffeeTea103 · 03/07/2014 20:44

My DH travels a lot and brings home all the small bottles Grin they are lovely and do feel a bit luxurious.

PrincessOfChina · 03/07/2014 20:45

They last for ages. My record with a shower gel is four months (and I do shower daily!). You need a teeny bit.

Morethanalittlebitconfused · 03/07/2014 20:46

I only ever use it when I rob the samples from hotels Grin

Theodorous · 03/07/2014 20:53

There have been threads on here where people say that taking hotel freebies is actual theft as bad as stealing from a shop/robbing a bank etc!

londonrach · 03/07/2014 20:56

Smell nice but agree overpriced for what what you get. One day I might get one....

DiscoDancer · 03/07/2014 20:59

I recently opened a set of MB products I had been saving to recycle as a gift. Oh my god they are lovely. The black pepper shower gel is lovely, need a small amount and the smell lasts all day. I am converted, although I don't think I can bring myself to pay £22 for a bottle!

Minnieisthedevilmouse · 03/07/2014 21:04

Do love these as gifts.

Buy Baylis and Harding though. Flipping similar packaging.... :)

OscarWinningActress · 03/07/2014 21:10

DM bought me some of the rhubarb and rose soap and lotion. It smells absolutely divine....for about two seconds until it goes down the drain. TOTAL waste of money, IMO. $25 for hand soap? Hahahahahaha.

MoonlightandRoses · 03/07/2014 21:11

Their marketing? Wink Can't stand the stuff personally, think it's very overpriced for what it is. Much prefer something like REN or Dermologica.

CeliaFate · 03/07/2014 21:13

They smell really nice and you can feel the difference when you use them. They don't have a harsh, chemical smell or feel. I've asked for a bottle for my birthday. The older I get, the more I want to spend on things I will use and appreciate. Good pillows, shower gel, bubble bath and wine. Grin

RedRoom · 03/07/2014 21:41

Nothing, in my opinion! They are absolutely chock full of harsh, cheap chemicals such as retinyl palmitate, sodium laureth sulfate, methylparaben etc etc. My husband had a horrific reaction to the Active Cassia deodrant. Turns out it has an ingredient that is banned is a number of countries. They've done a wonderful job of persuading people that they are full of quality, natural ingredients, but the labels show a different story.
