Football....shouting and cheering...what's ok?

DH watches the Australian football on a Saturday morning. HE seems unable to control himself and the game (which lasts AGES) is punctuated with his ear splitting claps...(just one really loud clap which are deafening and often) and his shouting "COME ON!!! and KICK THE BALL!!!

I worry the neighbours will get upset as we live in a flat! AIBU to tell him to tone it down?

He thinks I am as "It's football!" as though that makes it ok to disturb the peace...this is all at about 9.00 am!

I had to apologise to my own children when watching england in the World Cup
And not for clapping Blush

I wouldn't worry!

It depends. If he's in Australia most people will understand.

They may not empathise quite so much if he's watching Aussie Rules from his sitting room in Chipping Sodbury.

Not in Oz! No...that's part of the problem. We're in Cheshire!
