About a hundred mums from our school are part of a Facebook group that was set up to keep in touch outside of school when one of the other moms was very poorly with cancer. We used it as a way to inform each other of what was happening with our friend to save her poor DH from needing to repeat the same information a million times a day.

Over time, it's become a place to ask school-related questions which is fine when it's stuff that you can't find out easily but some of the questions are just because the poster is bone-idle. Today alone we've had "what time does parent's evening start?" and "6 weeks break up date please" No manners and it's all there on the school website.

Arseholes.

WIBU to reply "It's all on the school website"?

Not at all. I'd do it.

Just post links to the school website instead of the answer.

That is so passive aggressive, Unreal. I like it!

You might lose a few friends though and they'll all be talking about it for weeks. I remember what school gates friendships were like, soo judgy. Dozens of hormonal, sleep deprived women with too much time on their hands can be a recipe for a bloodbath.
