To think mumsnet seems a little dead lately?

Not doing a flounce before someone says.

It just seems so quiet on here lately. Some threads seem to be on the first page for days - without even having hundreds of replies.

Or perhaps I'm on here too much as I don't start my new job for another week.

Nicer weather prob means people are out rather than at home on pcs/phones.

KirjavaTheCat · 26/06/2014 12:45

I'm only on here this week because DD has a rotten cold and is doing her best impression of a limpet. Hadn't been on for weeks and weeks before that, weather's been too nice to sit and faff about on my phone.

PrimalLass · 26/06/2014 12:49

Everyone is away on holidays taken in term time Grin

Xcountry · 26/06/2014 12:53

Everyones outside enjoying the sun, I'm not, I'm here when I really should be sleeping.

Crinkle77 · 26/06/2014 13:24

HoneyDragon · 26/06/2014 13:27

FailureIsNotAnOption · 26/06/2014 14:39

Perhaps it's reaching its end like bounty did, we'll all have to go to netmums next Shock

fourforksache · 26/06/2014 14:41

yes it's definitely been quieter, it comes and goes though.

fourforksache · 26/06/2014 14:42

I'd go and harrass pie & bovril before joining nethuns Shock how dare you suggest such a thing! Wink

LuisSuarezTeeth · 26/06/2014 14:44

Everyone has been banned.

Wink
Mintyy · 26/06/2014 14:45

Have noticed the same.

BristolRover · 26/06/2014 14:57

I find it amusing that within minutes of seeing this, a parking thread, a request for info about child models and a thread about Dubai as an unethical holiday destination have all sprung up... ;-)

TillyTellTale · 26/06/2014 15:00

Are they zombies, Bristol?

BristolRover · 26/06/2014 15:05

nope, a brand new fresh approach look to child modelling (again)

Hairylegs47 · 26/06/2014 15:05

I think it's because of the tennis.
Or the nice wether.

Gateshead Ikea was full of 'zombies' this morning. They - Ikea - had a fire drill and kept customers in the car park. Everyone was wandering around with arms crossed while they sorted themselves out.
I went to Asda instead of joining in with the arms crossed Zombies.

Icelollycraving · 26/06/2014 16:34

Yes,I want a thread I can really get my teeth into about entitled fuckwits. Speaking of which, whatever happened to the op with the pool with the cheeky neighbour swimming when she thought she had gone out?

MollyWhuppie · 26/06/2014 16:36

I think now mumsnet has become bigger, people are afraid of posting juicy threads for fear of being recognised.
