Where you "scared" when you decided to ttc?

Or if you weren't trying did you feel scared when you found out you were pregnant?

My eldest is 16 and the youngest is a year, I have 6 children. They weren't all planned but even the ones that were planned I felt terrified at the thought of getting pregnant. I wanted children so much though, so I don't know why I felt so scared.

I had a miscarriage in November. Wasn't planned but a mix of shock and happiness when I found out I was pregnant. It took us 4 months to conceive again. I guess that was the hardest time wondering if it would happen again

I felt scared when I found out I was pregnant with DS, even though I had sort of wanted to be pregnant at the time, I was 19 though so I think it was more "Oh shit I actually did it, now what's everyone going to say??"

Then again 26 now and scared again of TTC even though we're doing it properly this time and both looking forward to the idea

A bit, I got pregnant first at 15 and it was a shock but I had him at 22 weeks and sadly he didn't make it. We didn't really try for another but continued sleeping together and I fell again the next year and had a beautiful healthy baby boy at 17.

Same with DD who I had at 19 - wasn't planned but was welcomed and we didn't really think actively trying was right for us - if it happened, it happened.

I fell pregnant again at 22 (lightening cant strike twice can it?? - wrong) I gave birth to another boy at 20 weeks who again sadly didn't make it and I was devastated.

After that we decided to try again actively and had DS2 and DD2 the next year and we made the decision that after everything we have been through we wouldn't try to prevent a pregnancy and that every one was a blessing. DH really wants another one so its a waiting game for us.

After I mc last year, yes. As I thought it would never happen, I'm pregnant again now.

Excited when we ttc DS I think, and we conceived far sooner than we thought!
