AIBU to find Tesco's advertising policy irritating?

They've got this thing now where stuff in their stores have cutesy signs hanging up by them saying things like, 'Enjoy every steamy, creamy, dreamy mouthful'*

This irritates me as does 'drink ME' or 'pour ME liberally all over naked body and lick off with bathroom door locked' on packaging'**

'ME'???!!!! I mean, wtf, is the pot of cream TALKING to me? Have I entered a parallel universe or something?!

Gets on my wick. AIBU?

*OK I made that up but you know what I mean.

** Ditto.

YANBU. It's called 'wackaging' and it is annoying. I blame Innocent.

I quite like Innocent's branding and Soap and Glory etc.

Just looks so conceited when it's by Tesco though.

Omg YADDNBU. It makes me feel queasy, endowing food etc with a personality and a voice Confused Since Soap and Glory have been mentioned they make my toes curl too. I can see they're trying to stand out but that incessant lame punning just gets on my wick.

Another thing about Tesco....every sodding time they make a shop announcement they end it with 'thank you for shopping at Tesco, HAVE AN EXCELLENT DAY'. I was told to have an excellent day 5 times in the space if half an hour recently. An excellent day?? Hmm
