Bjorn Borg ones are good. Probably more than a tenner though. Maybe buying cheap is a false economy?

Hairylegs47 · 19/06/2014 05:41

I always buy the size smaller than I need. I'm a size 16, so buy 12-14. Every once in a while I think I'm nuts and buy the 'right' size, they don't last long before I go back to the smaller ones. It doesn't matter where I buy them or how much they've cost either.

I was always hoiking my knickers up as a kid, drove me mad and I was always worried they'd fall down in front of everyone. It was wonderful finding an 'old' pair!

JontyMyers · 19/06/2014 06:02

ive tried wearing smaller ones and i still spill out of them between my legs there just tighter Blush i need something with more fabric between the legs i think wearing smaller just gives me red marks everywhere

Why do you need a pair for each day? Confused

greenfolder · 19/06/2014 08:43

you only wash your underwear every 30 days? you need a whole months supply? buy 7 pairs of decent ones and wash them weekly. (have i missed something?)

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 19/06/2014 08:44

Tu are my fave, ar Sainsbury's usually 3 for £7 or such like. I always buy a sizedown as they are very generous.

CashmereMouse · 19/06/2014 08:45

Why do you need 30 pairs OP? Confused

Surely a week's worth is enough and then you do a load of washing every few days?

I admit I have about 20 pairs of knickers but they were £6 a pair from M&S and I chuck/replace on an ad hoc basis so have never had to buy them all in one go.

CrayolaCocaColaRocknRolla · 19/06/2014 09:31

Same problem with girl boxers. I want my fanjo to stay IN my nickers thanks! I also find it strange that NO NICKERS I buy allow for sanpads. at all. The fabric is just too little. It's ridiculous. I aint spending £10 on nickers though unless they were frillies/lace. Briefs are fine but too big on me as I'm so small. I'm a bit younger and would like to wear nice nickers that don't cut me in half and keeps everything in, neatly. are fannies getting smaller? are the big-fannies a dying breed?! i do not have a big fanny! It's the undercrackers! I swear!

Sallyingforth · 19/06/2014 09:55

Try going without.

Mrsjayy · 19/06/2014 10:10

Matalan short type are better no hooha spillage , primark gussets are too thin the briefs are fine the shorts become obscene Grin

Kerryp · 19/06/2014 10:13

Tescos seam free shorts are ace and nice and stretchy. So comfy and don't look too grannyish either lol

SybilRamkin · 19/06/2014 11:12

YABU for saying 'hoo-hah'! Grin

M&S are the best for undies, they do some great seam-free shorts.

eurochick · 19/06/2014 11:15

Another m and s shorts fan here. I find they don't last as long as they used to but they fit well and are very comfy.

JontyMyers · 19/06/2014 12:01

i just call it my hoo hah Grin everyone has their own name for it and that's mine. i'll see how i go with the F&F ones and i like having 30 pairs of underwear and 30 bra's and 30 pairs of socks its a weird OCD thing of mine DH finds it bizarre my underwear takes up a whole bureau in our closet but it's one of my weird quirks he puts up with Smile

Argh I feel your pain! They always sag just under my butt cheeks too Angry
I think it's because I'm really a size 6 but I can never find size 6 undies to match the bra, they all start at 8s. And then after the first wash they're basically a 10.

DeepThought · 19/06/2014 14:16

What is hoo hah spillage please?

Confused
Kerryp · 19/06/2014 14:40

Bits is what hookah means lol, this made me giggle

alemci · 19/06/2014 14:42

I find the M&S one's come up smaller in the same size than they used to.

i'm forever putting my fingers through the lace trim around the waistband and ruining the knickers. always on the nice pairs not the horrible one's you've had for years'.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 19/06/2014 19:36

You have 30 bras?! I have 4.

CoffeeTea103 · 19/06/2014 19:38

Spend a little more on some quality pants then maybe they will last longer.

beccajoh · 19/06/2014 19:39

I've got some sloggi shorts that are actual shorts, rather than ones where your arse hangs out the back. Bought about ten years ago so I've got my money's worth - £16 a pair I think.

But yes knickers are usually awful!
