to think that job adverts should specify a location?

Are employers really under the impression that a job is so good someone will want it regardless of its location?

I can't be the only one who only wants to apply for jobs where the commute is doable.

I totally agree with you they should at least put a post code. In theory I live within easy commuting distance of 2 major cities, in practice, using public transport it is 2 hours minimum and 2 buses into the city centre and by car to get to the nearest side of the city to start work at 9.00am I would have to set off at 7.00am at the earliest because of the horrendous traffic. The same return journey makes a minimum of 4 hours travel time a day.

To be fair to them, they have narrowed it down to 270 square miles!
