I used to be so idealistic and have so many principles - wouldn't buy South African produce, went on Anti-Aparthied marches and stood outside the SA embassy (shows age), boycotted Nestlé, any company that tested on animals, The Sun - you get the picture.
It was only when I sent The Sun back last week, that I realised that although I do still try (still no Nestlé but I don't think about all the companies they own), I don't honestly believe what I do, or dont do, will actually make a difference.
Was I just an idealist fool then or a hardened cynic now? And am I alone in this?
