...to ask you to join me for a Five-a-Day challenge?

I started a thread for this in General Health but that doesn't get nearly as much traffic as over here, so I thought just a quick signpost thread to point you over there might not be unreasonable to attract people who might be interested. Is it wrong to use the AIBU area in this way?

I thought it had changed to 7 a day?

Interesting article Everything - especially that some vegetables are most nutritious when consumed with fat (I always feel guilty putting butter on my carrots but apparently this is best!). I already generally try to use broccoli & spinach quite a lot. I knew that the magic "five a day" was a relatively random number chosen more for its marketability than anything else but I find that keeping an eye on my five-a-day is a helpful way of ensuring my food is generally lower in carbs and processed foods than it would be if I wasn't trying. I'm hoping that recording this on a thread here will help me assess whether this is working at all as a way to keep my eating vaguely healthy.

Yes youdont i think it has changed lately but its enough of a challenge making it to five frankly - if I ever make it to seven I think I'll need some kind of prize...
