Bardette · 14/06/2014 11:26

I think the sarcasm may have been missed on this one mardybra Grin

BumWad · 14/06/2014 11:27

Rotate between Fairy and Aldi Magnum

londonrach · 14/06/2014 11:27

Fairy and ecover is rubbish. Try the Lldl one. I tend to buy whatever on offer apart from fairy which is next to The waitrose one is good.

londonrach · 14/06/2014 11:28

Don't you hate autocorrect the fairy one can't wash dishes. Waitrose and Lldl good

bloominbumpy · 14/06/2014 11:29

ALDI but used to be Fairy. ALDI is much cheaper and does the same job if not better.

ConfusedDotty · 14/06/2014 11:34

This is almost as interesting as the 'pegging' thread. Almost

MardyBra · 14/06/2014 11:35

Well it goes to show how you can get people to the mundane minutiae of life in Aibu. Wink

Are you going to thread police on your own thread Mardybra Grin Grin Grin

wants to offer bicarb and vinegar but suspects that would just make a mock volcano in the sink

WeddedBliss · 14/06/2014 11:39

We have a dishwasher so I only use it to rinse or for the odd mug or plate. I buy Tescos cheapy though, it's 29p or something.

Tbh I can tell no difference between this and branded, it still does the job I need it to.

MardyBra · 14/06/2014 11:39

I'm quite happy for someone to report me to MNHQ and have it moved. But last time I complained they told me AIBUs were fine as long as you asked it as an Aibu question.

OP posts:
MardyBra · 14/06/2014 11:40

In fact, I would love them to move it, because that would set a precedent.

MardyBra · 14/06/2014 12:20

What about Finish for the dishwasher? I had to use powder as mine won't take tablets. It works out cheaper though.

Always Fairy, currently the Citrus Fields variety, with Fairy Platinum also on the go for the most stubborn pots etc.

Cocolepew · 14/06/2014 12:43

Tbh I thought I was tbe only person in the world without a dishwasher .

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 14/06/2014 12:49

Report it to MNHQ and ask them to move it to Good Housekeeping Mardy. This will then serve as an object lesson on How Things Should Be Done, and also a fascinating, appropriately filed, resource for dishwashing researchers.

FamiliesShareGerms · 14/06/2014 12:51

Another vote for Fairy Platinum. We stock up when it's offer (which is fairly regularly) because I refuse to use anything else. We don't have a dishwasher, so do loads of washing up, and it really is better than anything else

Pagwatch · 14/06/2014 12:53

Fuck off Mardy.

MrsCosmopilite · 14/06/2014 12:53

Ecover

MardyBra · 14/06/2014 12:53

But Lady, I've phrased it in the appropriate manner. Why should it be moved? Wink
