To hate people sunbathing on tv when it is clearly not sunny

I know the director cant plan the weather and they have schedules to work to but i find it really irritating to see people sunbathing and talking about how hot it is when it's a cloudy grey day. They arent even having to squint in the sun. Even worse is when they have obviously filmed on different days and the same scene from a different camera is suddenly bathed in golden sunshine, then back to grey skies, back to splitting the stones then back to not even a shadow on the ground. Very annoying.

You do realise most of the things people are seen to be doing on TV are just pretend, don't you. . .

Grin mine is

But if you want to know if it is on TV or not, look for bubbles - red wine shouldn't have bubbles in it

I used to quite like watching the actors on Home and Away frolicking around in beachwear when it was clearly -2 degrees and was filmed during the brief break in a downpour.

women wearing bras in bed, under pyjamas, not the have sex in bras types on SATC

I'm a bit of a closet admirer of the garden hose spray down-pour though, always seems to be deployed on the set of Midsomer Murders. And in the middle of summer, you can see the shadows just out of shot. Maybe directors need to work together more, shoot the sunbathing scenes on the days it's meant to be raining. . . Cos that would work Confused

For me it's the opposite - meant to be freezing cold but you can't even see their breath.

frames · 12/06/2014 23:38

Nobody ever seems to need to nip to the loo on the telly neither. This has puzzled me for years.

Glitterfeet · 12/06/2014 23:38

YaNbu it makes me feel cold.

Singlesuzie · 12/06/2014 23:43

Glad its not just me.

The nip to the loo lots in emmerdale, usually in the woolpack and usually followed by the person they are having an affair with Grin
