Someone has thrown a condom into out garden!!!

Would I be unreasonable to tell my neighbours that I think their teenage son is throwing condoms into our garden? Or should I wait and see if it happens again? I don't want to embarrass the poor woman, but I don't want to be collecting up condoms either! This is the first time it's happened btw...

Throw it back.

With tweezers of course!

Canus · 09/06/2014 21:12

Do you know it's the teenage son?

One condom doesn't mean anyone will start flinging them over the fence with gay abandon.

Perhaps it was dropped from a height by a bird.

Silverb1rch · 09/06/2014 21:14

Canus - we thought it could be that or we have a stealth wanker in our midst! (Or garden) Wink

You don't actually know where it's come from. Just put it in the bin, if it happens again, then maybe casually mention it, I still wouldn't be throwing accusations around though.

WorraLiberty · 09/06/2014 21:36

I know this is not at all funny OP, but I have to admit to laughing at you uploading a photo of said condom Blush

Like none of us would know what they look like Grin

I found one in my garden years ago (hanging off my shrub!) But I live in a semi, on the side of a cul de sac.

ExCinnamon · 09/06/2014 21:39

Worra, I laughed, too.

Sort of like an "identify my plant" thread Grin

OP I'd wait and see if more appear. Then I'd take action.

WorraLiberty · 09/06/2014 21:43

It's not complete without a whole sad faced family pointing to it Grin

Andrewofgg · 09/06/2014 21:43

Wash them out and return them . . .

Behave, Andrew. Break the habit of a lifetime and behave.

WolfMoon · 09/06/2014 21:44

Sorry, but I did laugh at Worra living in a semi. Deliberate pun?

Silverb1rch · 09/06/2014 21:49

I think it's kind of funny too really! You're right- I don't really know who it is and I would certainly never be rude about it...

It's just too far away from any other neighbours to be them iyswim! (If it's not a bird)

wheresthelight · 09/06/2014 22:00

Oh for heaven sake you have no idea where it came from so you certainly can't go around accusing your nan teenage son

Get a grip

WorraLiberty · 09/06/2014 22:03

Deliberate pun?

Sadly not! I didn't even think about it until you mentioned it Grin

ExCinnamon · 09/06/2014 22:15

Wolf, I didn't get it for ages. Sad, me.
Silverbirch, I hope it was unused?

In the school I teach at the kids learn to put condoms on, no, not on bananas, on 'models'.
I kid you not. A whole cupboard full of them.
I count myself lucky I don't teach year 9 PHSE because how on earth do you keep a straight face? I'd be in stitches. Not very grown up.
