I have a dd and a ds. Sister thinks I should be greatful for what we have, of course I am. But part of me and my husband feels that we should have one more to complete our family.

Mil also said she would kill us if we had another. I'm 24, husband is 31.

What's it to do with MIL? Stop discussing your potential family additions with other people, it's only between you and your husband.

It's completely up to you and your DH. Of course YANBU to want another baby.

Unless you all live in MILs house, or regularly leave your two children with her all day every day, then her response is totally uncalled for.

If you want a third, and can afford a third, then try for a third.

Rely on them financially or for babysitting.

I had a third (much to the disappointment of my neighbour who said we were being selfish and not thinking of the environment). What's it to do with your MIL? You're a grown up mother of 2, not a teenager, make your own decisions.
