Fairly posh potty for sale on Gumtree. About 4 clear pictures lots of different angles :) potty comes with original box etc
Description also very detailed.
Would-be buyer makes contact on Tuesday. I didn't check the emails on Tuesday. So Wed I check emails and notice 2 emails from that buyer. First email asking if item is still available and if the £5 I ask for is the 'best price' and gives me mobile number. Scroll up to next email which reads 'available?? Contact me on such and such number'.

Right OK not too impressed with the tone of either emails but think I'd better contact the guy to get rid of this potty. Send him an email saying yes it is still available and give the postcode again to make sure.
Reply comes within seconds. Yes still interested and then ask to be contacted on mob to arrange collection.
I text him with full postcode, reminder of price and couple of possible collection times. Thankfully to exact address. He replies: 'Well I hope it is clean and boxed. £3 or does it have to be £5?'!!!
At this point I thought jeez I wished I'd given it to a charity shop!!
Just told him item was as shown and described on the website and was welcome to check it was to his standard before buying and that £5 was the price!!
Is Gumtree like this now? I never had a problem before...

This sort of thing is why I no longer sell things on FB selling pages or gumtree. Buyers just totally and utterly take the piss.

I meant 'thankfully NO exact address' ...
