Hello all,

First time posting so be gentle!

I have just been offered a job at a company. The offer is a temporary role but it is full time and for four months starting next week. I have a rather expensive holiday at the end of July for two weeks booked and I was just wanting to check here before i would inquire, but would i be allowed to take these two weeks off?

Its my first job and Im really not sure but I don't want to miss this holiday nor to I want to make things difficult for my working situation.

If anyone could shed some light I would be grateful! Thank you!

You should ask , it's usual for employers to ask at interview about booked holidays. We always honour pre booked and put sanctions on the job advert for periods that we can't give time off in.

The only way to know would be to ask. Just call them up and see what they say.

If they have offered you the job then you are in a fairly good position. They like you, more likely to agree to requests.
