This will totally out me but I can name change so....

My piece of shit neighbour seems to think he can do what he wants and we all just have to put up with it.
He let's his dog (American bulldog)out of his yard to wander on to my garden to do it's giant business.

In the past I've called the dog warden, they had a word with him but because it's on private property they can't do anything legally.

He refuses to clean it up himself or keep the dog off the garden.

So yesterday I picked up 5, yes 5 giant piles of crap, and left them outside his yard gate Grin

I'd have posted them through his letterbox, myself...

Is your garden not fenced in? I think i'd invest! But until then yes, I'd return his property :)

MikeLitoris · 31/05/2014 13:13

I've got an American Bull and the shits are BIG.

I would have posted them too. Cheeky twat.

confusion77 · 31/05/2014 13:13

Yanbu but i would be fencing my garden if i were you!

HecatePropylaea · 31/05/2014 13:14

I think that's reasonable. He clearly forgot to collect them. you are being helpful and neighbourly.

It's not like you are wrapping them up and posting them back to him...

Could you try this?
Funnest evil shot.....:

Objection · 31/05/2014 13:18

I'd have put them in a big fancy box, wrapped it with pretty paper and tied it with a big bow and left it by his front door.

YANBU

I eventually did this to one of my neighbours who used to open her gate and let her dogs wander along the private road to my house instead of taking them for a walk. Many polite requests were ignored and I finally flipped after accidentally pedaling through a huge dog shit right in front of my driveway. Not only did she stop letting her dogs wander onto my property, she also stopped speaking to me (she was a vicious gossip) and stopped asking my DH to do little DIY jobs for her.
Result Grin

I think I'd have one of these permanently set up.

FourForksAche · 31/05/2014 13:29

Grin definitely not u, absolutely wonderful! hope he doesn't retaliate though.

GloriousGloria · 31/05/2014 13:47

He was none too happy at 8'clock this morning when he opened his gate (to let his dog out again) and was greeted by a mountain of giant poos.

I will invest in fencing but why should I have to spend money to keep his dog out when he should be keeping his dog in!!

We had a tall fence around our yard and the neighbors dog would jump it and shit all over my grass. each day I would get my little shovel and throw it all back over the fence to them went on for months. They never said a word and then one day dog was stopped from jumping over, never had another problem.
