For those of you who were following, I have just updated the thread (now sitting in Classics) where I was trying to track down a toy monkey my ds lost a couple of years ago. Thanks to the wonderful people of mumsnet - and Jinkle in particular- the two are back together and my ds is currently asleep in bed with him lying on his pillow next to him.
