Very light period boobs still sore

Have posted this in conception also but more traffic here!

I have just finished what seemed to be a very light period. No tampon or towels needed but my boobs are still sore to touch at the sides!
Has anyone any experience of this and did they go on to have a positive pregnancy test?
Arent using any contraception and apprehensive to POAS if its going to be negative! Any advice would be appreciated

Yes this is what happen with my second pregnancy, and very bouncy DS who is currently sat on my lap.

I think it was probably an implant bleed. you can't tell till you test.

Would a result show so soon after the spotting stopped?
Maybe I will do one in the morning.

I think it took me a couple of days after to twige and do a test. It was positive straight away but faint I think, the doctor sent me for blood tests the week after which confined it.
