Bastard bastard spots. Day 4 both DDs covered, tonight they've started in the scalp and privates and they are so uncomfortable. DD2 also has 2 puffy black infected ones on her lovely face and it's her 2nd birthday! Sad

I'm 36wks pg and finding it hard to move.

Bastard poxy bastards.

I'm absolutely vaccinating DC3.

You have my sympathy, my DD had it a few weeks back and I had forgotten what a truly nasty infection it is, she was covered everywhere, worst all around her bits, loads on her beautiful face, she sobbed with pain for a couple of nights, but by day 5 even though she looked horrific, she was much better in herself, hope your DD's make a speedy recovery and hope you have some help so you can get some rest. X

Look on the bright side - they're both getting it over with at once rather than one after the other (children catching it from siblings generally get it worse apparently).

As for vaccinating DC3 do your homework first. I've heard that it doesn't convey lifelong immunity and getting CP as an adult is not to be recommended.

YANBU, I had about a month of the dreaded cp, starting with ds1 who was smothered (thought he had it bad and no way could the other 2 get it worse). Ds2 topped ds1's covering of spots and then some. You couldn't get a finger between the spots anywhere on his body. Dd was coming out in spots for a week but had it far less severely but then get infected spots leading to an abscess under her arm, I couldn't pick her up without her screaming in agony. Then, just as I thought we were over it ds2's spots got infected too. It is all a distant nightmare now though and I am hoping they all had a bad enough dose that we are immune and will not have to go through it again. Hope you LOs are better soon.

DD had it at 3.5, then DS caught it off her at 18 months. Then they shared it with DP, then 35. Never seen anyone that ill. He had it really badly as a child according to MIL.

Thanks for you OP. Chicken pox is evil. YANBU.
