...and she had her 12 week injections today. She's b-feeding at the moment and coming off every few moments to breathe as her little nose is all bunged up.

And her thighs are red from the injections.

And she keeps peering up at me and whimpering softly with the saddest expression I've ever seen.

She's had a warm bath, Calpol and is snuggled up in bed, but even so.

Yanbu but Chat maybe next time? This is definitely not AIBU.

Jabs and colds are a part of life. 12 weeks, 12 mobtgs or 12 years, it's slways crap to see tgem suffer

My dd had her first cold at 5 weeks, poor thing.

I highly recommend a nasal aspirator (aka snot sucker) - weird but very effective at unblocking a snotty nose.

Those plug in menthol things are strangely effective. Makes the room smell pleasantly minty-fresh, too. Also you can buy special baby nose-wipes, called Nose Nuzzles, which are good for tiny noses. Poor you, and her. I well remember what a bind bf is when the baby can't bf for a few seconds before breaking off to breathe. But this too shall pass!

Thanks! Nasal suction thing purchased and off to find a mentgol plug in :)
